Lone Larsen
LONE LARSEN:

Lone Larsen was born in Vind, a small village in the western part of Jylland in Denmark. She is educated from The Academy of Music in Aalborg in Denmark, The Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where she received a diploma in choral conducting, and Juilliard School of Music in New York.
Lone Larsen is since 1999 the conductor and artistic director of Voces Nordicae in Sweden. Along the classical tradition, Lone has worked with folk- and afro-american music which further more enrich the sound and repertoire of Voces Nordicae. Since 2011 Lone is the Artistic Director of Vokal Nord in Norway.

2008 Lone Larsen was appointed "choir conductor of the year" in Sweden. Lone has been chorus-master for The Eric Ericson Chamber choir and she is lecturer in conducting at Ersta-Sköndal music academy. Lone has been teaching at the Royal College of Music, The Music Gymnasium and Adolf Fredriks Music School in Stockholm and at Aaron Copland School of Music in New York.
As a freelance conductor she is often engaged for workshops and concert productions and has worked with many fine ensembles in Europe.
